Impact of the surface anthropogenic modifications and the climate change on the hydrological processes in the catchment areas and river beds, synchronicity of hydrological and meteorological fields, simulation of the water cycle at the mesoscale level. Diffuse pollution of water bodies. The main areas of research: the Russian Plain, Lena’s watershed and other watersheds of the Arctic Ocean basin
